They utilized their non-actor/actress flock in producing this hit movie. Certainly, Fireproof is one of the best Christian movies that I have ever seen. Fireproof is not an action pack full trailer movie, but about a marital relationship that is on its way to divorce. And guess what, it was one of the top hit movies of 2008. The story is about a nonbeliever couple Caleba and Catherine. They are already on their way to divorce due to incompatibilities, arguments and all sorts of marital problems. Outside their home, Caleb is getting all advices from Christian believers while Catherine is not. Here we see the big difference between the view of Christians and the view of nonbelievers in marital relationship. Now, it was revised by various Christian singers. But still, Shine On Us is one of the best devotional songs that I have ever heard. The video clip below was the AVALON singing Shine On Us. Their version is very close to that of Phillips Craig and Dean. What I like the most with the video is the use of an orchestra, Violin and Piano are such great instruments to play this song. In addition to this, whenever I hear this song, I cannot help but to pause for a moment of prayer asking God for daily guidance and thanking Him for the salvation that he has freely given.
