Currently, me and my wife is attending a bi-monthly seminar on “Fireproofing Your Marriage”. So far, we are really enjoying discussing things about marital relationship within the couple’s group of our Church. Each partner in the group is also trying to work on our daily task, “The Love Dare”.
Today’s reading is a very useful tool in resolving marital conflicts. I believe each couple should try to take note of this post since this has been a great treasure in most successful marriages. And I do agree to what the author says about marital conflicts and problems. I quote this post from “The Love Dare” book by Kendrick.
The post is all about the boundaries in dealing with conflicts. Before I forget, I suggest that you print this post or at least bookmark this page so that you will be able to go back here if in case you will be needing this post in the future.

Brother Eddie Villanueva, a religious leader of one of the most prominent Evangelical group in the Philippines, the Jesus Is Lord Movement (JIL). Have been the best leader of JIL, have been in the ministry for many years, and have been a good model of leadership.
He was a candidate in 2003 Philippine presidential election, but lost having one of the least votes among all the presidential candidates.
Brother Eddie Running President, Again?
In one of the posts that one of my colleague made, he is against Bro. Eddie Villanueva for running. The reasons stated is not new. In fact, I have heard this from other people and pastors that I know. Well, I made this post for us to think and analyze the reasons behind it whether it is valid or have a solid Biblical support.
I quoted his article below:

Fireproof Movie and Materials Review
Fireproof Movie was produced by a Christian church, Sherwood Baptist Congregation. They utilized their non-actor/actress flock in producing this hit movie.
Certainly, Fireproof is one of the best Christian movies that I have ever seen. Fireproof is not an action pack full trailer movie, but about a marital relationship that is on its way to divorce. And guess what, it was one of the top hit movies of 2008.
The story is about a nonbeliever couple Caleba and Catherine. They are already on their way to divorce due to incompatibilities, arguments and all sorts of marital problems.
Outside their home, Caleb is getting all advices from Christian believers while Catherine is not. Here we see the big difference between the view of Christians and the view of nonbelievers in marital relationship.
There are TONS of things to learn in the movie most especially in our relationship with God and our relationship with our spouse.

Shine On Us was originally from Phillips Craig and Dean album. Now, it was revised by various Christian singers. But still, Shine On Us is one of the best devotional songs that I have ever heard.
The video clip below was the AVALON singing Shine On Us. Their version is very close to that of Phillips Craig and Dean. What I like the most with the video is the use of an orchestra, Violin and Piano are such great instruments to play this song.
In addition to this, whenever I hear this song, I cannot help but to pause for a moment of prayer asking God for daily guidance and thanking Him for the salvation that he has freely given.
May this song bless you in your walk in Christ.

One of my favorite subjects is history. Even when I was in high school, I love to read history books, visit historical sites, and visit museums that focuses on history.
“Boring” as some other people commented listening to their history professor. But I find it very interesting discovering things about what people did in the past and how it came into being in our present time. Historical events play in my mind as I read along the lines of historical books.
It’s amazing because it was only in my seminary life that I have seen a clearer picture of the history of Christianity. For instance, Catholic claims that they are the one true “original christian religion”. Was this really the case? How did it began calling them to be “Roman Catholics”? What are the significant events that happened those times that resulted to schisms and divisions among the Christian church? And many more.
