Philippine politics is said to be at its critical level in moral degradation. Corruptions and political immorality is extremely rampant from the top most powerful governing body to the lowest. There are even times that school teachers teach students to cheat in an inter-school examination contests. No wonder why corruption has become more and more difficult to solve and why religion entered to politics.

Philippine Election 2010 is the first automated election in the country. So I find it very helpful for every Filipino to understand how the machine works, how will it be operated, and what are the do’s and don’ts during the election.

The most awaited filing of the Bangon Pilipinas Movement, the filing of certificate of candidacy of Bro. Eddie Villanueva. I can’t help but to congratulate Bro. Eddie Villanueva for being so brave in filing his candidacy along with his running mate Perfecto Yasay and some other people like Kata Inocencio and Alex Tinsay.

This “PURE” political party has no money, lacks man power, and lacks some preparation. None the less, they will be meeting the rest of political parties in the battle field of politics.

The group is composed of undefiled new politicians who aims to bring a PURE government, a godly nation, and a dignified people in the government. I would say that Bangon Pilipinas Movement is the “Dream Team” politicians of the Filipinos.

The big question however remains, HOW WILL THE FILIPINOS ACCEPT THIS DREAM TEAM? As of now, Bro. Eddie is still at the tail of surveys. The cause is pure, the goal is clear, the vision is at hand, but will they win the election?

There is a pressure in terms of political strategy for the Bangon Pilipinas. But as far as I assessed these people, Bro. Eddie along with his fellow candidates are not hungry for power so as they are totally different from the rest of politicians who runs under the opposition and under the administration.

Star Ng Pasko, A Godly ABS-CBN Station ID

I can’t stand without giving my commendation to ABS-CBN Station ID. I have been a fan of ABS-CBN Station ever since. I have seen all the rest of their station ID’s. But I would really say that this Christmas’ station ID is the best.

I also tried browsing over YouTube what GMA could present as their station ID. Without bias, still this ABS-CBN Station ID is the best for me. If you disagree, then I encourage you to judge for yourselves, browse their station ID’s and see if it is true.

The death of Pres. Cory Aquino rekindled the memories of EDSA People Power of 1986. Who can believe that a tiny nation called the Philippines was able to overthrow a dictator that reigned for 20 years without shedding of blood.

This song that was presented in the video below is the theme song of the EDSA People Power. Everytime I hear this song, the more that I fell in love in the Philippines, my country, my home, my blood. As a pastor, I will never cease to pray for it, especially to the politicians to change their mindset. Going to public office is not for living or income generation but for service. Cory Aquino demonstrated this well.
