The Power of Positive Thinking

Positive thinking can change life. Here’s a short poem that I wrote on my personal experience on positive thinking.

“Whenever I see disobedience in the membership, I see new strategy to win them;
Whenever I see problem in the leadership, I see new things to learn for them to follow;
Whenever I see problems, I see solution;
Whenever I see enemies, I see new friends;
Whenever I see trials, I see discipline;
Whenever I see lie, I see truth;
Whenever I see death, I see life.”
-Ptr.Vince Olaer

I hope that this poem will bless ministers, pastors, church leaders, etc. Be positive.

  • The positive thinking that we are referring to the poem is NOT in any way related to the New Age Movement. The poem points out truths that we have to see in our ministries as ministers.

    We have to understand that in ministry, there are failures that we unintentionally make. There are conflicts and negative things that happens inside our ministries.

    But having a positive attitude like to what Hebrews 12:1-3 is telling us, it is looking directly at Jesus Christ. It is setting our eyes on Jesus. Taking off everything that hinders us.

    Again, just to be clear, The Power of Positive Thinking that we are referring to the poem is NOT in ANYWAY related to the Positive Thinking that New Age Movement is teaching.

  • Positive thinking is not new age. They (new agers) just took what was ours and used it for their own purposes.

    The word says to meditate on the word, which means to think about it, mutter it, repeat it.

    As a family, we stay positive in all circumstances. Doing so does not allow the enemy to gain a foothold.
    Blessings!
