The Lighthouse is a ministry that reach people for Christ. We are dedicated in producing new believers that are committed and people reaching believers. I do hope that this campaign will also touch your heart as we change the world together.
We want to see the lives of men and women in Ormoc City, Leyte to be radically transformed through knowing Christ personally and making Christ known to all people. We also want to strengthen families in the fellowship, and strengthen fellowship in the families.
Our Purpose
We celebrate God presence in worship We always encourage our brethrens to join us both in worship service and prayer meetings.
MISSION: We communicate God’s Word through evangelism. As of the moment
this is our main focus in our ministerial work and where we are strong as a church. We always give emphasis on evangelism and mission work. As of the moment, we have 2 house churches and 5 outreach churches.
MEMBERSHIP: We incorporate God’s family into our fellowship. We always encourage good relationship with each other and comradery.
MATURITY: We educate God’s people through discipleship. We always give emphasis to discipleship. This is also why we are trying our best to educate our people about Christ’s commands as part of our obedience in the Great Commission. This is why we want to try our best to make our own discipleship materials.
MINISTRY: We demonstrate God’s love through service. We always promote service to our fellow brethrens. We encourage everyone to work as a part of God’s body the church. We promote, on the job trainings for faster maturity and learning to obey.
WE CARE BECAUSE JESUS CARES
We are all called to be disciples. the moment we receive Christ we have been given the command to lead someone to Christ. To take the initiative to GO and MAKE disciples of all nations, BAPTIZING them in the name of the Father, of the Son and the Holy Spirit, and TEACHING them to obey everything that Jesus has commanded us to do. This is what every believer is called to do.
