Can it Run On Mac and Linux?
Good news.. Yes it can. For Mac users, Parallels, Fusion,VirtualBox, or Boot Camp to run. While for Linux, VirtualBox, VMWare, and WINE
WINE in Linux already made a great leap from its earlier versions. As for my experience, I am running “The Word” software in my Linux and it has no problem. With the low system requirements of BibleWorks, I think it can run on WINE. However, just in case that it will not run, try the VirtualBox.

I’ve been a BibleWorks user ever since it came out and it is my favorite research program. I switched to Linux about 5 years ago and it’s been frustrating. I tried Wine and BibleWorks was usable, but very buggy. Then I used VirtualBox for BibleWorks until about two years ago, when I started dual-booting Linux and Windows. A month ago, I tried Wine again and BibleWorks 9 runs very well now….. Or at least it did until a couple days ago when I upgraded to the latest Wine release. Now I get error messages when I try to run BibleWorks. It may work out if I reinstall it, but haven’t made time for that yet.
Linux is really my favorite OS. But yes, if you can’t make it out using WINE, there’s always a virtual box.:)
