It was a blowout fight in favor of Manny Pacquiao who dominated the ring versus Bradley. But the world was shocked when judges C.J. Ross and Duane Ford scored 115-113 in favor of Bradley. Here’s a quote from Yahoo Sports:
Yahoo! Sports scored it 117-111 for Pacquiao, the same margin as Tim Dahlberg of the Associated Press and Steve Carp of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Dan Rafael of ESPN had it 118-110 for Pacquiao. HBO’s Harold Lederman had it 119-109, or 11 rounds to one, for Pacquiao.
“This is a death knell for boxing, and I’m going to make a ton of money on the rematch,” Arum said.
Pacquiao landed 253 of 751 punches, a connect rate of 34 percent. Bradley landed 159 of 839, a connect rate of just 19 percent. On top of that, Pacquiao seemed to land the more powerful shots.
Spending all night reading articles, watching news, I have never seen an expert or a boxing analyst who said that Bradley won the fight. It was a blowout win in favor for Pacman. If only boxing is all about hugging, Bradley would have been a dignified champ. But it’s not. It’s all about giving and receiving punches.
Now the whole world is thinking that it was completely for money. It’s no longer sports; it’s all about PPV business. It’s a big black-eye for world boxing when the two judges seemed to have sold out the fight in favor of Bradley.
Rematch?
Even before they stepped up the ring, there was already a plan for rematch. But even the expert says that there will be no rematch if Manny won the fight. And this is probably the reason why an obviously won fight for Manny goes to Bradley.
I think the cry for rematch is the result of this corrupted decision to manipulate the world for more money in PPV. I think, Pacman does not need to prove anything because it’s a one sided win for Pacman and going for rematch is just for money. It’s the same old dirty business tactics.
Some people commented that it was a Karma against Pacman for being against same sex marriage. Some say that this happened because of Pacman’s new found faith. Well of course; these were just unintelligent opinions for narrow minded bigoted people. Pacman’s pursue of righteousness just proves that Manny has become a better fighter than ever. And this “fixed” lost can never be attributed to that faith. It was totally an undignified win of Bradley and he should be ashamed for getting something (World Championship) that he does not deserve.

I believe with what Jinkee said in a an interview, that what happened is a test of faith. They are new belivers. Of course, as Christians, we do understand that once you left worldly living, it will do its best to get you back. I pray that the Pacquiaos stand firm on their faith as they go through this and put their faith in the Lord.
“For we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him; those who have been called according to His purpose”. Romans 8:28
Yup… not just a test of faith… but also persecution.
When the moment of truth gets shaded with lies and deception, it’s time to ask, “What does the Word of God say? What does God want us to do?”
