Fireproof Movie and Materials Review

Fireproof Movie was produced by a Christian church, Sherwood Baptist Congregation. They utilized their non-actor/actress flock in producing this hit movie.

Certainly, Fireproof is one of the best Christian movies that I have ever seen. Fireproof is not an action pack full trailer movie, but about a marital relationship that is on its way to divorce. And guess what, it was one of the top hit movies of 2008.

The story is about a nonbeliever couple Caleba and Catherine. They are already on their way to divorce due to incompatibilities, arguments and all sorts of marital problems.

Outside their home, Caleb is getting all advices from Christian believers while Catherine is not. Here we see the big difference between the view of Christians and the view of nonbelievers in marital relationship.

There are TONS of things to learn in the movie most especially in our relationship with God and our relationship with our spouse.

Let me ask you a question, is your marriage on the brink of divorce? Is it chaotic and as if there is no hope? If it is this movie as well as its discipleship material is for you.

What if you are already a Christian and your marriage is doing well? Then this movie is still good for you especially if you will involve yourself in your campaign against divorce in your Church.

The Bible is a great source of teachings about marital relationship and this movie is based on it. It tells us the original plan of God for our marital life. It tells us the real meaning of love.

Our society has degraded morally. More and more marriages is going down because of the evil desires of men and this is not because of the incompatibilities with each other but because men lack God.

On the other hand, there is hope in Christ. There is hope that awaits for our marriage to recover, and to become fireproof. That is if we are willing to submit our lives to God.

Fireproof Discipleship Materials

Here’s the good news, the movie “Fireproof” was really intended to help solve the worsening stats of divorces around the globe. The movie is accompanied by some other materials where you can use for discipleship lessons, couples seminar, marital relationship counselling, and even for ordinary talks.

But wait, let me ask you. Are you struggling to cope up with your spouse? I mean do you have any difficulty in understanding him or her? Now, this is a time for you to fully understand what is it all about.

Ok, let’s talk about the two books first. The first book that I want to share you is “The Love Dare”. This is more like a devotional material for couples for 40 days (hmmm…. seems to be similar to Purpose Driven Life). In this book, aside from the “devotional” part, it has the daily “Love Dare”, to which the main actor of the movie followed through.

The next book is “The Love Dare Bible Study”. This material summarizes all that you will be learning from the devotional book “Love Dare”. However, this is more like a tool in understanding love all the more in godly perspective.

These resources are really powerful in strengthening marital relationship. Though it is still God who settles everything (which is also depicted in the movie), these materials are certainly one of the finest in our century.

• If you are handling a group who is suitable for these lessons, I suggest that you buy it as a group. I know it’s quite expensive if only one person will buy everything.
• If your Church is big, I strongly suggest that your Church will buy these materials and place it in the Church library so that all other groups can borrow them.
• If you are only an individual or just a couple, I suggest that you join a group or form one, and all together, you buy them.

Guys, these materials worth every penny. It is much cheaper to invest on these than to lose your marriage and spend hundreds and maybe thousands of dollars just for a divorce or annulment case. You will not only gain your spouse, but you will gain the LOVE of your spouse.
