Introduction

During the time of Paul specifically in the island of Crete, Christians there are struggling with the culture that is evolving in the island. False teachings of various types, and probably things that “upsets families” are very common. It affects the Church very badly so as the individual families. And this is what Paul is addressing.

Even before, there are confusion on various teachings especially those that affect families as a whole. In our world today, the same thing is happening all over again. Various teachings that teaches the younger generation to depart from the Biblical teachings. This is also a call to all Christian families to not just consider but teach their children about the Biblical definitions of love, marriage, relationship, faith, and our roles as Christians.
