Why does it feel so cold?
Where is your loving embrace?
Where is your hand touching our face?
There are more condolences than celebrations.
There are more get well soon than congratulations.
Deaths are left and right.
Sufferings is in our sight.
It’s been nearly two years since it started.
Going back to our normal life we patiently waited.
Yet it is already showing the toll.
To you we make a call.
We desire love from you.
We desire peace from you.
We need healing from you.
Lord, where are you?
We know you have seen
And bringing love and peace you are keen.
We entrust you everything.
We also long for healing.
Praises to you we will continuously sing.
To the hope you gave we will cling.
