The Ministry of Testimony: Sermon from 2 Corinthians 6
We are done talking about the ministry of pleasing God and the ministry of reconciliation. We are also done in talking the ministry of endurance. Today, we will be talking about ministry of testimony.
When God chose the Israelites to be his chosen nation, he means it. And he always wants to keep it following His ways as well as to keep it pure from thinking, from faith, and from practice. This is how God values his chosen people.
The Ministry of Endurance: Sermon on 2 Corinthians 6
Christ’s ministers need great endurance. Endurance is always a part of work, so as the ministry of Christ. There will be times that we feel quitting. There will be times that we feel giving up, surrendering from the ministry.
But what does Paul say about the reality of ministry and how far should we go?
Sharper Than A Two-Edged Sword
“For the Word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow and is a Discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature than is not manifest in His sight; but, all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with Whom we have to do.”

A Full Two Years
