Jim Brickman is more popular in secular world than in Christian gospel singer. Though he is not really a hard core Christian singer, most of his songs, especially the love songs are inspired by Christianity. And he is known to have some association with Christian gospel singers like Micheal W. Smith. According to some sources, Jim is really a Christian who lives faithfully for God.

The world has accepted this song much and they love it. If Love of My Life  is originally a Christian wedding song, there’s no reason for you not to love it as well.:)

Love Of My Life

By Jim Brickman

F C
I am amazed
Gm
When I look at you
    G
I see you smiling back at me
            F C
It's like all my dreams come true

     C
I am afraid
Gm
If I lost you girl
     G
I'd fall through the cracks
                          F C
And lose my track in this crazy lonely world

               Am
Sometimes it's so hard to believe
          C
When the nights can be so long
     D
And faith give me the strength
    G
And kept me going on

Chorus: F G
You are the love of my life
    C Am
And I'm so glad you found me
            F G
You are the love of my life
     C Am
Baby put your arms around me
G F G
I guess this is how it feels
     Am D
When you finally find something real
   G
My angel in the night
            G
You are the love
               C
The love of my life

F C
Now here you are
Gm
With midnight closing in
G
You take my hand as our shadows dance
      F C
With moonlite on your skin

               C
I look in your eyes
Gm
I'm lost inside your kiss
 G
I think if I'd never met you
      F C
About all the things I'd missed

               Am
Sometimes it's so hard to believe
        C
When a love can be so strong
    D
And faith give me the strength
    G
And keep me holding on
