El Shaddai by Amy Grant is definitely one of the most beautiful Christian songs that I ever heard. I consider it to be an all-time favorite. Thank God I found both lyrics and chords of this song.

Hope you’ll like it!!!

El Shaddai

by Amy Grant

Chorus:
     Dm G
El Shaddai, El Shaddai,
     C F
El-Elyon na Adonia,
       Bb E/D
Age to age You're still the same,
       Am A
By the power of the name.
     Dm G
El Shaddai, El Shaddai,
     C F
Erkamka na Adonai,
         Bb E/D
We will praise and lift You high,
     C
El Shaddai.

First verse:
	      Dm G
Through your love and through the ram,
   	       C F
You saved the son of Abraham;
	     Bb E/D
Through the power of your hand,
	   Am A
Turned the sea into dry land.
	Dm G
To the outcast on her knees,
	      C F
You were the God who really sees,
             Bb
And by Your might,
	       E/D C
You set Your children free.

Repeat Chorus:

Second Verse:
             Dm G
Through the years You've made it clear,
	  C F
That the time of Christ was near,
	     Bb E/D
Though the people couldn't see
       Am A
What Messiah ought to be.
             Dm G
Though Your Word contained the plan,
            C F
They just could not understand
	    Bb E/D
Your most awesome work was done
	      Am A
Through the frailty of Your Son.
