The Biblical Truths About Discipline
Even at the very beginning of the teachings of discipline. Discipline is not merely intended to burden the people in following God, but to lessen the load of those who needs it. Discipline is like working out and body exercise. It seems that it is a burden to those who do it, yet the main purpose is to strengthen one’s Spiritual life and that later on he will be able to stand against temptation.
Aphorisms

It’s His way to remind us that He cares for and loves everyone of us, that He sends us the blessing called Morning.

Praying of the Rosary Is NOT Bible-Based Teaching
Praying The Rosary Is Not Biblical, And Is A Form Of Idolatry
Just last Sunday, a local newspaper paper released an article teaching that the praying of the Holy Rosary is Bible-based. In the first two paragraphs, the writer admittedly says that there is no passage in the Bible teaching nor mentioned about the praying of Rosary.
However, in the following paragraphs, the writer justified the praying of the Rosary basing it on the repetition of historical events of some Bible characters (like Gideon as he mentioned) about Israel’s history.
I don’t know if the writer of this article did some research about the origin of rosary and how it was deeply encouraged for Roman Catholics.
Praying of Rosary was encouraged when Lucia Dos Santos and her cousins Francisco and Jacinta Marto claimed to have an apparation from an angel teaching them to pray in the spring of 1916. They were asked to pray repeatedly by the angel who appeared to them. This is why the Catholics were convinced that they have to pray repeatedly.
The Role of Discipline
What is the role of Discipline inside the Church? Is it really necessary? Most people once they undergo the discipline process start to ask these questions. Going back to the previous post, we have learned that discipline is intended for restoration of a sinning brother and not to condemn anyone.
A Discipline Insight
Matthew 18:15-20 is probably one of the most popular passages about discipline. Here we can see that the offender has been given chances for repentance. It is very important to note how Jesus Christ presented the matter to his disciples.

VBS Graduation
Our VBS 2009 has just finished. We had a pretty good graduation ceremony. We have about 205 enrollees this year, and it is the biggest VBS that we have conducted for the past 3 years. It blessed many students and even parents who have seen our efforts of teaching their children and spending time and money for people that we don’t know. And this has been a good testimony as we are just starting our ministry here in Tambulilid.
