Last Sunday, we sung in the church Trading My Sorrows by Darrel Evans. I first heard this song in a youth camp more than a decade ago. This post comes with chords and lyrics.

As we sing it, I feel like God is telling us, “go and trade your sorrows for the joy that only comes from Me.” And yes, it is the best that we can ever do in times of our sorrows, we need to give it to God. It’s been very touching last week because it was during those times that we had our great sorrows. Some friends died, problems arises, trials and conflicts emerged.

And there is only one thing that we can do… trade it for the joy of the Lord.
