Javier, Leyte – It was indeed a beautiful week to end the summer vacation for most students, the 8th LASBC Annual Youth Camp was held in Abundant Life Camp Ground in Malitbogay, Javier, Leyte from May 19-22, 2015. This is year is the biggest “fully registered” number of campers, 128 young people.

There are two new churches that joined the Youth Camp for this year, the church from Mayorga, Leyte and the Lighthouse – Tacloban. 🙂

Keishon Aban Praying

This year’s theme is #RENEW (Ephesians 4:17-24).

Our main speakers in this camp are:

  • Keishon Aban
  • Eulogio Alberastine
  • Mark Tan
  • Mary Grace Olaer

The main highlight however in this camp is the presence of some young people who just recently knew about Christ. However, since “#Renew” is the theme of the camp, it is very important that not only they knew about Christ, they will also know what He can do in their lives.

Pastor Yoy challenged the young people in the final night to give their lives to Christ and allow God to work in their lives. Of course, we will not allow this camp to pass without baptism when about 19 desired to be baptized after the challenge and 7 accepted the Lord in their lives.

The following day, right after breakfast, 13 out of 19 accepted water baptism led by Bro. Mark Tan and Pastor Boyet.
