Did you ever felt betrayed by your friend or someone whom you love so much? How about betrayed by your fellow brothers in the faith in your church? No matter how much we want to revenge this injustice, the word of the Lord still speaks to our hearts of His promises.
May these Bible verses about betrayal encourage you to do what is right even if you felt this injustice.

“A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will not escape.”
Proverbs 19:5

“And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.”
Matthew 24:10 ESV

“James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes in the Dispersion: Greetings. Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. …”
James 1:1-27 ESV

“Then Satan entered into Judas called Iscariot, who was of the number of the twelve. He went away and conferred with the chief priests and officers how he might betray him to them. And they were glad, and agreed to give him money. So he consented and sought an opportunity to betray him to them in the absence of a crowd.”
Luke 22:3-6 ESV

“My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: …”
1 John 2:1-29 ESV

For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

After saying these things, Jesus was troubled in his spirit, and testified, “Truly, truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me.”
